Major components of the collaboration with Indian School of Business
National Skill Development Agency (NSDA) and the Indian School of Business, Mohali signed Memorandum of Understanding on 10th February, 2017 at NSDA's office to collaborate for becoming knowledge partner with National Skill Research Division. Mr. Madhav Lal, Executive Director, Bharti Institute of Public Policy under Indian School of Business and Dr. Sunita Chhibba, DG-NSDA signed the MoU. This MoU sets out the preliminary framework of engagement between Bharti Institute of Public Policy and NSRD.
Under this collaboration, Bharti Institute of Public Policy and the National Skills Research Division will work closely with each other to build skill-research collaborations and develop a knowledge partnership aimed at further enhancing the research in the field of skill development in India. Both the partners will contribute towards enhancing the role of knowledge in accomplishing the objectives of NSDA, doing research on national and state level data available with NSDA and bring out analytical reports, discussion papers, policy recommendations, etc.
The collaboration may also create knowledge management platforms like symposia, discussion forums, roundtables, etc entailing diverse expertise and activities with prospects to create new insights and innovative solutions on strengthening policy framework in the skilling space.
